Berlin Fashion Week asserts itself as times change
Now in its 18th season, Berlin Fashion Week has done a lot of growing up over the years. Like the city hosting it, many things have changed since its inaugural runway event in 2007.
"What's interesting about the city is that it finds itself in a sea change at the moment," designer Michael Michalsky told "Die Welt" newspaper over the weekend. Michalsky, formerly Global Creative Director at Adidas, has become the face of Berlin fashion since starting his own label there a decade ago.

Fashion, style of the 42nd annual Houston Marathon
While many of the runners participating in the 42nd annual Houston Marathon opted for traditional running gear, others put on a show with a wild assortment of fun and zany costumes.
Quite a few of the participants took inspiration from Wonder Woman, the Amazonian superheroine from the DC comic book series. Ashley Day and Frankie Cox, who you can see in the photos above, rocked matching "Wonder" hoodies during their run.

Lucky Blue Smith brings Beatlemania scenes to Men's Fashion Week
The men's fashion shows aren't usually a magnet for mobs of screaming teenage girls, but there is one model bringing Beatles mania to Milan Fashion Week – Lucky Blue Smith.
The 17-year-old, who has been crowned the Justin Bieber of modelling, has walked for Emporio Armani, Ralph Lauren, Phillip Plein and ErmannoScervino in Milan this season and is being chased from show to show. His fans could take on the Directioners in a scream-off.
